1). GOVERNMENT

Project Overview

Our client is a municipal government body comprised of 6,000 unionized and non-unionized employees providing public transportation to 14 Million residents or 3 Million rider’s per-year.

Secure Knowledge Management Inc. led the development and implementation of the Information Security Education and Awareness program including project plans, management reports, curriculum development and presentation development. Stakeholders were identified within strategic departments of the organization and we developed a collaborative partnership with them. Our professional employee education was developed following best practices such as Bloom's Taxonomy, David Kolb's Learning Style Inventory guided by our skills developed through the British Columbia Ministry of Advanced Education and Centre for Curriculum Development, Transfer & Technology.

2). FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT

Project Overview

Our client is a $50 Million dollar Financial Management corporation located in New England who contracted Secure Knowledge Management Inc. to lead systems assurance and certification over banking systems running on IBM iSeries Server.

Objective - Secure Knowledge Management Inc. assisted with the development of information security policies that were created to provide guidance with the mitigation of known risks associated with information handling and technology. During the process we professionally ensured the Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability of information assets and system resources.

3). BANKING

Project Overview

Our client is one of the big chartered banks in Canada.

Secure Knowledge Management Inc. was initially contracted to oversee the application program conversion from CISC to RISC and hardware upgrades to IBM iSeries Servers. The project was so successful that a contract extension was authorized to conduct additional work.

Objective #1 - Secure Knowledge led the IT Audit and Security review of Y2K business applications running on IBM iSeries Servers platform.

Objective #2 - Secure Knowledge also led the installation of the TSX mirrored hot site running on IBM iSeries Servers ensuring the Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability of information assets and system resources.

4). PHARMACEUTICAL

Project Overview

Our client in an international manufacturer of generic pharmaceutical products.

Objective #1 - Secure Knowledge led the development and implementation of project plans based on PMI methodology. The project was designed to manage the upgrade of IBM iSeries Servers and convert Enterprise, Resources and Processes (ERP) BPCS systems and migrate ERP database to the new platform.

Objective #2 - Secure Knowledge led a project that consolidated and centralized ERP databases and migrated the data from the United States and Israel to the new IBM iSeries Server platform in Canada.

Objective #3 - Secure Knowledge led the recertification of lab and office IBM iSeries Server and Windows systems in compliance with ISO 9002, GMP and FDA, Health Canada regulations.

Objective #4 - Secure Knowledge led the development, implementation and administration of IBM iSeries Server and Windows information security architecture. This design included object level security and role-based control measures designed to ensure Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability of information assets and system resources.

Project Overview

Our client is the world's largest supplier of technology and consulting services.

Secure Knowledge was contracted to conduct IT Audit and Independent Systems Assurance Review (ISAR) against international banking systems located in Trinidad, Barbados, Nassau, Jamaica and Antigua including international financial systems running on IBM iSeries Server platforms.

Objective #1 - Secure Knowledge provided information security consultation to the client and their customers.

Objective #2 - Secure Knowledge developed scripts and programs to help automate the assessment process.

Objective #3 - Secure Knowledge created assessment reports and submitted these reports to the client and their customers.

Our client is one of the world’s largest international telecommunications service providers.

Objective #1 - Secure Knowledge was contracted to lead an audit of business applications running on IBM iSeries Server.

Objective #2 - Secure Knowledge led the review and assessment of IBM iSeries Series architecture to ensure the Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability of information assets and systems resources.

Project Overview

Our client is a well-established, post-secondary institute.

Objective #1 - Secure Knowledge was contracted to develop professional curriculum for a third-year mandatory IBM iSeries Server systems engineering course. Our professional adult education was developed following best practices such as Bloom's Taxonomy, David Klob's Learning Style Inventory guided by our skills developed through the British Columbia Ministry of Advanced Education and Centre for Curriculum Development, Transfer & Technology.

Objective #2 - Secure Knowledge facilitated labs and lectures for third-year post-secondary students.

Objective #3 - Secure Knowledge developed quantitative tests, assignments and exams to ensure that effective knowledge transfer occurred.

Objective #4 - Secure Knowledge provided students with consultation.

Objective #5 - Secure Knowledge developed and implemented an internal support web site for students.

8). OFFICE SUPPLY MANUFACTURING DISTRIBUTION

Project Overview

Our client was the primary supplier for Business Depot and Staples.

Objective #1 - Led the development and implementation of project plans based on PMI methodology for the implementation of EDI trading partners. These EDI documents were created in compliance with EDIFACT and ANSI X.12 standards on Windows NT and HP9000.

9). FROZEN FOOD MANUFACTURING DISTRIBUTION

Project Overview

Our assignment was with a leading manufacturer and distributor of frozen foods. The client operates in 16 countries around the world with annual revenue of $6.23 billion and employs 16 thousand employees.

Objective #1 - Led the ISO 17799 assessment and GAP analysis on IBM iSeries Servers and Windows NT, 2000, XP and Windows Servers.

Objective #2 - Led the development and implementation of project plans based on PMI methodology designed to establish a global integrated information security program based on ISO 17799, BS 7799, NIST Common Criteria and COBiT.

Objective #3 - Led the development and implementation of residual projects designed to close current gaps in information security practices with a common framework.

Objective #4 - Led the assessment and integration of risk mitigation practices in the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Objective #5 - Led the assessment and integration of risk mitigation practices within the Project Management Life Cycle (PMLC).

Objective #6 - Provided information security consultation for the Active Directory implementation.

Objective #7 - Provided information consultation as a member of the Technological Direction Committee.

Objective #8 - Provided information consultation to the infrastructure review committee.

Objective #9 - Provided information security consultation for Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity project.

10). APPAREL MANUFACTURING DISTRIBUTION

Project Overview

Assignment was with international leader in casual clothing manufacturing.

Objective #1 - Led the development and implementation of EDI trading partners on IBM iSeries Servers.

Objective #2 - Led the development and implementation of project plans based on PMI methodology designed for the integration of bar code scanning for the pick-pack operations on IBM iSeries Servers and Windows NT servers.

Objective #3 - Led the development and implementation of project plans based on PMI methodology designed for the integration of MH10 case labels and ASN EDI documents. These EDI documents were based on EDIFACT and ANSI X12 standards on IBM iSeries Servers and Windows NT Servers.

Objective #4 - Led the development and implementation of database management interface and financial interface on IBM iSeries Servers with HQ mainframe located within the United States.

Project Overview

Assignment was with one of Canada's largest general insurance companies with annual revenues in excess of $770 Million dollars per annual and employing 2400 professionals.

Objective #1 - Led the HRIS & Payroll System application conversion and data migration to IBM iSeries Servers platform and database management architecture.

Objective #2 - Led the data migration and conversion of employee’s records to IBM iSeries Server for Canada's two largest general insurance companies.

Objective #3 - Led the Requirements Analysis and Systems Development for integrated Applicant Tracking, Skills Inventory and Group Benefits business systems running on IBM iSeries Servers, Windows NT Server and ES 9000 platforms.

Objective #4 - Led the development, implementation and administration of IBM iSeries Series and Windows information security architecture. The design included object level security and role-based control measures designed to ensure Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability of information assets and system resources.
